Research Project Fee Schedule

In order to offset the costs of providing ERC operations and audit functions required by ERC contracts and rules adopted by Texas education agencies and the Joint Advisory Board, the Education Research Center (ERC) will levy charges based on the Annual Access Fee schedule shown below.

An ERC Authorized Researcher must either be a primary investigator designated for an Approved Project, or be assigned to conduct work on an Approved Project by one or more of its primary investigators of record.

A student is an ERC Authorized Researcher who is currently seeking an advanced college degree.

A researcher is considered "within System" if he/she is affiliated with an institution that is part of the Texas A&M University System.

 

Annual Access Fee:

Affiliation	ERC Authorized Researchers*	Student
Within University System	$10,000.00	$500.00
Other	$15,000.00	$5,000.00

* The charge for ERC Authorized Researchers is for two researchers working on an Approved Project.  For Approved Projects with special requirements, annual fees may be negotiated between the ERC and the principal investigators.

 

Each ERC may, at its sole discretion, waive access fees.

Annual Access Fees will be used by the ERC to offset ERC operating expenses.
