Through the Early Learning Intervention Training and Education (ELITE) initiative, the Texas Workforce Commission seeks to secure a qualified Grantee to implement statewide strategies to enhance capacity among Board staff and Child Care Program educators to support children with disabilities, exhibiting challenging behaviors, or both. The goals under this initiative, through the enhanced staff capacity, are to (1) ensure that children with disabilities have access to a supportive learning environment and (2) prevent suspension and expulsion in an early learning setting.
